Many call the 2016 Subaru WRX STI the best rally car in history, and many would be right. The STI still has its 305 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque, powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged / intercooled BOXER engine. With high-performance suspension and minimal body roll from its anti-roll bars, the WRX STI has one of the sharpest steering responses on the market. All this for a price of just $26,595, talk about a bargain!

The symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and STI-Exclusive Vehicle Dynamics Control (VCD) allows for uniform stability and an optimal distribution of power, delivering maximum traction and thus improving handling and efficiency. The new STI, complete with Active Torque Vectoring, is able to produce a quicker response to any and all road conditions, allowing for intense acceleration on all terrains, living up to its Rally car heritage.

But what’s really special about the STI is its Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive) technology, which features 3 modes of driving. The Driver-Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) and the close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission allows you to fine-tune the amount of lock between the 4 wheels, letting you match your vehicle’s handling attitude to your own, wherever you’re driving to.

The STI also features the all-new Brembo Performance Brake System, designed for superior track performance and fade-free stopping power, allowing for a reduction in unsprung weight for a quicker suspension reaction. The new STI’s interior also features a premium look and feel with its 440-watt premium audio system, complete with nine Harman Kardon speakers moving away from their cheap plasticky interior from the past.
